The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding for AT LEAST 12 months and thereafter "as long as mutually desired." If you and your toddler are happy, you don't have to wean until you want to. If you decide to wean, you have done an exceptional job and shouldn't feel guilty. The decision is up to you and your family. Only you know what is best.
